FAQ - Where can I stay?

 

There are lots of options for accommodations when attending a Racer5 event!

1. STAY AT THE TRACK

  • Whether you bring an RV, cargo trailer, tent or your car, you can spend the night at the Grand Bend Motorplex.  All Racer5 staff are at the track for the entire weekend!  Washrooms and Showers are available and open 24 hours.  Best of all there is no additional cost!

2. BOOK A HOTEL/MOTEL

  • Grand Bend is a summer beach town destination.  Therefore there are lots of options of places to stay.  The downside is they fill up well in advance of Racer5 events and they are expensive.  If this is your thing, book rooms as early in 2026 as possible.  Establishments include:
    • The Colonial, Grand Bend
    • Dreamz Inn, Goderich
    • Ashwood Inn, Bayfield
    • Silverbirtch Inn, Goderich
    • Harmony Inn Motel, Goderich
    • Comfort Inn and Suites, Goderich
    • Maple Leaf Motel, Goderich
    • Hessenland Inn, Zurich
    • Bluewater Motel, Grand Bend
    • Pinedale, Grand Bend
    • Amber Motel, Grand Bend
    • Oakwood Resort, Grand Bend
    • Kiwi Motel, Grand Bend

3. AIRBNB

  • Again Grand Bend and surrounding area have lots of rental accommodations.  Keep in mind the further from Grand Bend you look the more money you will save.  Check places like Zurich, Mt. Carmel, Exeter, Parkhill, Bayfield.  All are 20 min or less from the track.

4. CAMPING

  • Pinery Provincial Park is extremely close to the track and extremely popular!  There are other campgrounds in and around Grand Bend as well.
